New York Yankees first base coach Tony Pena was immersed in his club's game in Detroit when his son, Francisco, hit his first major league home run against the Boston Red Sox on Thursday night at Camden Yards. So, when Yankees pitcher Ivan Nova told him about it, Pena thought he was being pranked.

"I heard during the game, but I thought it was Ivan kidding with me," said Pena, who arrived in Baltimore with the Yankees later that night. "I thought he was kidding and then after the game, I checked the score and then I found out and we talked afterward."
