Orioles hit three home runs to beat Pirates, 6-4

The Orioles used three homers and another strong performance from expected Opening Day starter Chris Tillman to beat the Pittsburgh Pirates, 6-4, before 7,883 fans at Ed Smith Stadium.

It was the Orioles’ eighth sellout in nine home games this spring.

The Orioles were tied at 4-4 in the bottom of the eighth when Henry Urrutia hit his first home run of the spring to give the Orioles the lead against Pittsburgh right-hander Stolmy Pimentel. Ryan Lavarnway added an RBI double in the inning to give the Orioles a two-run lead.
