Jake Arrieta threw his first career no-hitter Sunday night as the Cubs snapped a four-game losing streak by beating the Dodgers 2-0. Arrieta won his major-league-leading 17th game as he struck out 12 and walked only one in a 116-pitch effort. Arrieta struck out the side in the ninth. At the plate Kris Bryant lined a two-run homer to left off left-hander Alex Wood in the first. Bryant had hit his previous 12 home runs at home. Starlin Castro had three hits and is 8 for his last 21.
