Wizards' Bradley Beal to miss two weeks with right fibula stress reaction

Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal has a stress reaction in his lower right fibula and will miss the next two weeks before being re-evaluated, the team announced Saturday. The diagnosis, which the Wizards labeled "the beginnings of a stress reaction," comes less than 24 hours after Beal was a late scratch for the Wizards' 107-105 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday. He underwent an MRI on Friday and further testing Saturday. Based on Washington's initial timeline, the earliest Beal will return is Dec. 26, against the Brooklyn Nets.
