IronBirds get back on field with a win at Brooklyn

Back from the two-day New York-Penn League All-Star break, the Aberdeen IronBirds found the win column in Brooklyn, NY, Wednesday night.

The 'Birds (31-23), aided by a five-run, fourth inning, turned back the Cyclones (15-38), 6-2, in a battle among McNamara Division foes.

The two teams will be back at it Thursday at 7 p.m. and the series will conclude on Friday with a 6:40 p.m. start.

In Wednesday's win the IronBirds broke open an scoreless game with the big fourth inning. Zach Jarrett opened the inning with a walk with TJ Nichting and Mason McCoy (RBI) following with consecutive singles.
