A former Yankee who Orioles fans liked to boo even more than A-Rod, Mark Teixeira, didn't stay out of work very long.
Teixeira, the Mount Saint Joseph grad who spurned his hometown Orioles to sign an eight-year, $180 million deal as a free agent with the Yankees in December 2008, has joined ESPN.
The sports network announced today that it had reached a multiyear agreement with the three-time All-Star first baseman.
Teixeira, who was raised in Severna Park, will appear on baseball studio coverage ("Baseball Tonight"), its anchor show “SportsCenter” and ESPN radio.
