The Orioles have interest in trading for Seattle Mariners slugging first baseman Mark Trumbo, an industry source said.
The intensity of discussion between the clubs is unclear, but the Orioles have definitely targeted Trumbo, who could be nontendered this week.
The 29-year-old Trumbo is expected to make in the $8-9 million range next season in his final year of arbitration. He made $6.9 million this year.
