Orioles manager Buck Showalter released his American League Championship Series roster on Friday morning and there was just one change from his roster for the ALDS. The Orioles are still carrying 11 pitchers for their best-of-seven series against the Kansas City Royals, but they’ve added left-hander reliever Brian Matusz to take the place of right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez. There really wasn’t a matchup for Matusz against the right-handed heavy Detroit Tigers in the ALDS, but the Royals have several key lefty hitters – including first baseman Eric Hosmer, outfielder Alex Gordon and third baseman Mike Moustakas.
