Starter Bud Norris delivered the worst performance of his Orioles career on Friday afternoon, giving up eight runs on seven hits over just three innings in the O's home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays. Norris gave up four runs in the first inning, one in the third and three of the five runs the Jays scored in the fourth before giving way to reliever Brad Brach. The only time he came close to giving up that many runs as an Oriole was on Aug. 23, 2013, when he allowed seven earned runs in 4 2/3 innings against the Oakland A's in his sixth start after being acquired from the Houston Astros.
