The Orioles have had several firsts occur in Wednesday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays, including Jonathan Schoop’s first big-league hit and Ryan Flaherty’s first Eutaw Street homer.  Schoop, the club’s 21-year-old top infield prospect, made his big league debut batting eighth and playing second base Wednesday. In his first major league at-bat, Schoop lined the second pitch he saw from Esmil Rogers into center field. Everyone in the Orioles’ dugout clapped as Schoop stood on first base.
