In 1958, the Major League Baseball All-Star Game was played at Baltimore’s Memorial Stadium. Orioles pitcher Billy O'Dell (above center) secured the American League’s 4-3 victory by pitching three perfect innings and retiring nine straight National League batters, including future Hall of Fame members Stan Musial, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks and Bill Mazeroski.
