Orioles first-round draft pick DJ Stewart will make his professional debut Thursday for short-season Single-A Aberdeen against Staten Island. Stewart, a 6-foot, 225-pound outfielder selected 25th overall out of Florida State last month, signed with the Orioles on Sunday. The 21-year-old batted .318 with a .500 on-base percentage and a .593 slugging percentage in 64 games as a junior with the Seminoles. He hit 15 home runs with 59 RBIs and 62 runs scored. Stewart was the 2014 Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year and a 2014 All-ACC First Team selection.
