OAKLAND, Calif. — The Orioles open the second half of their season tonight in Oakland, their first stop in a three-city, 10-game West Coast road trip. Oakland (59-36) comes out of the break with the best record in baseball. The Orioles (52-42) are 11-6 against the American League West this season; their .647 winning percentage is the highest of any AL team against the division.
