Ross Kenseth, the 21-year-old son of Sprint Cup Series veteran Matt Kenseth, has had a successful career racing short track around the country but took on a much larger challenge this weekend. Ross made his first start on a 1.5-mile speedway, competing in Friday night's Automobile Racing Club of America series event at Kansas Speedway. Ross started 11th, fell a lap down early, got it back and was running as high as second after the final restart before finishing third to winner Spencer Gallagher.
