On Thursday, July 24, 20th Century Fox TV will bring Kiefer Sutherland to San Diego for a "24" retrospective panel at 10 a.m. in Ballroom 20, preview TNT's "Legends" pilot, starring Sean Bean, at 12:30 p.m. in Room 6A, and offer a Q&A with the stars of Lifetime's "Witches of East End" at 5:45 p.m. in Room 6DE.
"The Simpsons" returns to Comic-Con to celebrate its 25th anniversary on Saturday morning at 10 a.m., followed by "Family Guy" at 1 p.m. and "American Dad" at 2 p.m. for a hefty helping of animation in Ballroom 20. The "Family Guy" panel will feature a sneak peek at the Seth MacFarlane comedy's crossover with "The Simpsons." At 5:45 p.m., the stars and producers of WGN America's "Salem" will take the stage in Room 6DE, and at 7 p.m., the stars of FX's "American Horror Story: Coven" will make their first visit to SDCC, where executive producer Tim Minear will reveal some secrets about the next installment of the horror franchise, "Freak Show." On Sunday, July 27, 20th Century Fox TV wraps things up with an inside look at the final season of "Sons of Anarchy" at 12:30 p.m. in the convention's biggest venue, Hall H. Creator Kurt Sutter and the full cast will be on hand to bid farewell to the FX favorite.
FX is also bringing animated comedy "Archer" and Guillermo del Toro's "The Strain" to the convention; the cast of "Archer" will take over the Indigo Ballroom at 5 p.m. on Friday, while "The Strain" will debut on Sunday at 1:45 p.m. in Hall H, following the "Sons of Anarchy" panel. The entire cast will be on hand along with del Toro, executive producer/showrunner Carlton Cuse and executive producer/writer Chuck Hogan.
