Universal Pictures' communications department has upped Evan Langweiler to director and Nicole Westmore to manager.
The two will be splitting incoming media inquiries, with Westmore focusing on production, music, development and internal communications and Langweiler focusing on distribution, box office, digital, home entertainment, Focus Features, partnerships, licensing and international.
NBCUniversal Corporate Communications in New York, where he served as a coordinator for one of the top communications officers at NBC. He started as coordinator and then moved into the manager role.
Westmore spent some time in the Disney international publicity and corporate communications offices before moving to Universal as a coordinator in November 2011.
The department has also hired Alexa Bagnell as its new coordinator. Bagnell had previously worked in entertainment marketing at Allied Integrated Marketing and recently moved to Los Angeles from Washington, where she graduated early from the University of Washington.
