The Television Academy has hired Heather Cochran as its new chief financial officer and evp of business affairs, chairman and CEO Bruce Rosenblum announced today.
Cochran, who most recently served as managing director, planning and operations for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' museum project, replaces Frank Kohler. He is transitioning into a consulting role for the organization and will take part in logistics and planning for the Primetime Emmy Awards on August 25, as well as other special projects.
