British romantic comedy scribe Richard Curtis ("Notting Hill," "Bridget Jones's Diary," "Love Actually") may have folded up his directing chair, but he's made a short video for the nonprofit org the Global Poverty Project to support its goal of ending extreme poverty by 2030. Curtis is a co-founder of Comic Relief and the org Make Poverty History. His film showcases how far the world has come in the fight against poverty, and how far it still has to go.
