A&E Network is jumping on the post-show bandwagon, setting a live special to air after the March 3 season two premiere of "Bates Motel."
The half-hour telecast dubbed "Bates Motel: After Hours" will feature stars Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore (pictured) and Max Thieriot and exec producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin. The group will dissect the season opener and answer questions about the rest of the season.
After-shows are becoming a increasingly common way for cablers to squeeze more ratings and advertising revenue out of cult-fave cable dramas. AMC was the trailblazer with its weekly companion shows for "The Walking Dead" and the final season of "Breaking Bad" last year.
Michael Davies of Embassy Row is exec producer of "After Hours."
