April 6 will be an exciting night for HBO. It's not only the season premieres of "Game of Thrones", and"Veep," but it's also the debut of the ensemble comedy "Silicon Valley."

The show is based on creator and director Mike Judge's own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late '80s. The eight-episode season stars Thomas Middleditch as a computer programmer who lives in a "hacker hostel" owned by a millionaire played by T.J. Miller.

The series follows a group of introverted friends attempting to create a start-up company in modern-day Silicon Valley. Other familiar faces include Zach Woods, Amanda Crew, Josh Brener, and Kumail Nanjiani.
