BERLIN -- K5 Intl. has secured the rights to futuristic action sci-fi pic "VICE," starring Bruce Willis, alongside Ambyr Childers ("The Master," Showtime's "Ray Donovan"), and Thomas Jane ("The Mist," HBO's "Hung"), and set to be directed by Brian A. Miller ("The Prince," "House of the Rising Sun").

Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films, whose box-office hit "Lone Survivor" has taken more than $100 million in the U.S., is behind the production. K5 Media Capital is financing the picture, alongside Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films.

"VICE" is set on a futuristic resort where synthetic humans serve the rich, who live out their darkest fantasies. The humanoids are reset every night by the resort's owner Julian (played by Willis), but one female employee Kelly (Childers) malfunctions and retains every terrifying memory. Realizing what the tourists are doing to the staff members, she sets out to exact revenge.

Directed by Miller, "VICE" will be produced by Randall Emmett, George Furla of Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films and Adam Goldworm, and executive produced by K5's Oliver Simon and Daniel Baur, alongside Grindstone Entertainment's Barry Brooker and Stan Wertlieb.

Written by Andre Fabrizio and Jeremy Passmore ("The Prince," upcoming "San Andreas," starring Dwayne Johnson), "VICE" begins shooting in Alabama in March.

K5 Intl. is handling international sales and will be pre-selling at Berlin's European Film Market.

K5 Intl. co-founders Oliver Simon and Daniel Baur said: "We are proud to be working with Randall, George and Adam on this fantastic film. And Bruce is simply the personification of an action movie, so we know we're in good hands."

Emmett added, "We are excited to partner up with K5 and take 'VICE' to the international market. We look forward to a successful EFM."
