"Twilight" star Nikki Reed has come on board Kelvin Tong's upcoming horror movie "Email," which will go into production in Singapore in May.
Highland Film Group will handle worldwide sales and introduce the title to buyers at the European Film Market next week in Berlin.
Reed will portray a journalist who travels to Singapore to investigate the mysterious circumstances of her sister's death and discovers a string of bizarre killings involving a cursed email.
Reed recently finished filming "Scout" with Ellen Burstyn and Jane Seymour and "Murder of a Cat" with Greg Kinnear, Blythe Danner and J.K. Simmons. She is repped by Paradigm, Thruline Entertainment and attorney Lev Ginsburg.
