"Terminator: Genesis" looks to be losing one of its financiers, as sources tell Variety that Megan Ellison's Annapurna Pictures is no longer funding the film.
David Ellison's Skydance Pictures and Paramount will be the sole financiers.
Emilia Clarke and Jason Clarke, with Alan Taylor on board to direct. While no decisions have been made on who will pay Kyle Reese, sources say Boyd Holbrook and Jai Courtney are the two to beat. A decision for that part probably won't come until February and more tests could still be held.
Megan Ellison will remain on as an exec producer.
The pic is slated to bow on July 1, 2015. Deadline Hollywood first reported the news.
