Newly christened Fox News Channel primetime host Megyn Kelly is slated to interview ABC "World News" anchor Diane Sawyer during "The Kelly File" at 9 p.m. Friday, part of an effort to gain attention for the program in its first week.

Fox News said Kelly and Sawyer were expected to discuss Sawyer's exclusive interview with 16-year-old Malala Yousafzai, the young Pakistani woman recently awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts to attend school, which drew the ire of the Taliban. They will also discuss how the news business has changed over the years.

As part of the same program, Kelly is scheduled to interview Judge Judy Sheindlin, the popular barrister of the syndicated "Judge Judy" program. The two will discuss topics including current negotiations in Congress over raising the debt ceiling.

Fox News launched "The Kelly File" Monday as part of a rejiggered primetime lineup, the first time the network has altered its primetime schedule in more than a decade.
