Stiller, who has seen the movie at least 150 times in the editing room, admitted that "I sometimes daydream about silly things, like our dogs" and going on vacation with his family. "But I'm pretty happy with my life right now."
Adam Scott, who plays a nasty corporate bad guy in the film, had a more practical answer. "This morning," he said, "I was daydreaming about more sleep. I only got five hours."
Patton Oswalt also revealed a recent wish. "I was on the train today from D.C., I was looking out the windows and I daydreamed about being younger." He said he didn't have a wild youth as a "pen-raised man" from the suburbs of Northern Virginia.
Kristen Wiig, however, preferred to keep her internal monologue private. "I don't know if I would share my daydream with the world," she said.
But hopefully it's not as dark as producer Stuart Cornfeld's thoughts. "I daydream a lot about death," he said.
