Cinedigm has acquired all North American rights to Kelly Reichardt's "Night Moves," following its world premiere at the Venice and North American premiere at the Toronto Film Festival
, Dakota Fanning
and Peter Sarsgaard
star as radical environmental activists whose act of eco-terror plunges them into a moral maelstrom.
"Night Moves" was recently awarded the Grand Prize at the Deauville Film Festival. Cinedigm will release the film in the spring.
The film is a production of Maybach Film Productions, RT Features and filmscience. Producers are Neil Kopp, Anish Savjani, Chris Maybach, Saemi Kim and Rodrigo Teixeira.
The deal was negotiated by Cinedigm's Emily Rothschild with UTA representing the filmmakers.
