Paramount has released the first official trailer for Alexander Payne's "Nebraska," two months ahead of its U.S. release on Nov. 15.

The comedy, shot in black-and-white, debuted at Cannes, where Bruce Dern won the best actor prize. It also screened last month at the Telluride Film Festival.

The trailer opens with Dern being stopped by a Sheriff's cruiser, followed by a scene of him questioned by his son, played by Will Forte: "So you told the Sheriff that you were walking to Nebraska?"

"That's right -- to get my million dollars," Dern replies.

"Nebraska" also stars June Squibb, Stacy Keach and Bob Odenkirk.
