's docu "Running From Crazy
" in theaters on Nov. 1. The cabler will air the docu in 2014.
OWN previously partnered with Roco Prods. for theatrical distribution of the 2010 doc "Family Affair."
OWN and Vitagraph -- the distrib behind Gael Garcia Bernal's "Even the Rain" and "The Baader Meinhof Complex
" -- plan to give "Crazy" a platform awards-qualifying run, launching the film limited in New York, L.A. and Chicago.
"Running From Crazy" centers on the troubled lives of the Hemingway
family, focusing on writer Ernest Hemingway
's granddaughter Mariel. Pic premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival
