Actress Lisa Kudrow will star in new episodes of ABC's "Scandal."

A "Friends" alum is heading towards a D.C. "Scandal
." Lisa Kudrow
has nabbed a recurring role on "Scandal's" upcoming third season, ABC
confirmed to Variety.
Details about Kudrow's character are not entirely known, though some speculate that she will play a politician on the White House sudser.
Kudrow currently produces and stars in her web-to-TV laffer "Web Therapy," which airs on Showtime.
Season three of "Scandal" debuts Oct. 3 on ABC.
