have sold a comedy pitch about the "fear of missing out" phenomenon to Fox with a penalty.
Titled "F.O.M.O.," laffer from 20th Century Fox
TV centers on the lives of people constantly worried about missing out. Stuck in a job they don't want, a group of young life insurance brokers search for deeper meaning outside of their cubicles.
Project originates from Edelman, who created HBO's "How to Make it in America." Fleischer will exec produce through his pod deal at Fox. Heather Petrigala will also produce.
Fleischer recently helmed feature film "Gangster Squad
" and exec produced MTV
properties "Rob & Big" and "Rob Dyrdek
's Fantasy Factory."
Edelman and Fleischer are both repped by UTA. Fleischer is also repped by attorney Warren Dern at Sloane Offer, and Edelman by Hansen Jacobson.
