Nne Ebong will run drama development at ABC
Studios, as senior veep Michael McDonald
transitions out of his post to launch his own shingle within the studio.
Ebong most recently served as vice prez of drama development at ABC Studios, and in her elevated position will report to Patrick Moran, the newly appointed exec v.p. of the studio.
During her tenure so far at ABC Studios, Ebong has overseen the creative process on skeins including "Lost," "Brothers & Sisters" and "The Ghost Whisperer," and developed series including "Scandal" and "Revenge."
McDonald's production company, Stearns Castle, will develop both comedy and drama series for the broadcast, cable and digital platforms. He will also creatively consult on various ABC shows.
"After nine amazing years as an executive at ABC Studios, I am finally able to return to my roots as a producer and fulfill the dream of starting my own television company," McDonald said.
