Comedy website Funny or Die is breaking beyond the Internet into flesh-and-blood antics, teaming with Live Nation to stage a 13-city summer tour headlined by Dave Chappelle and Flight of the Conchords.
Funny Or Die's Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival will kick off Aug. 23 at austin360 Amphitheatre in Austin, Texas, and run through Sept. 22 in Phoenix, Ariz., at Desert Sky Pavilion.
According to Live Nation, Oddball fest is the largest outdoor comedy tour it has ever promoted. Event will feature two stages, plus street performers, vendors, psychics, freaks, food vendors and other attractions.
"It took the extraordinary talents of Dave Chappelle and Flight of the Conchords' Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement to create such an amazing night for comedy fans in such incredible summertime venues," Live Nation Comedy prexy Geof Wills said in announcing the tour.
In addition to Chappelle's standup routine and musical perf by The Conchords' McKenzie and Clement -- best known for their two-season HBO series -- the lineup includes Al Madrigal, Brody Steven, Chris D'Elia, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies, John Mulaney and Kristen Schaal.
Tickets will go on sale beginning June 21 for $20 to $95 each, depending on market and venue seating location. More info on the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival is available at oddballfest.com and funnyordie.com/oddball.

Funny or Die was created by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Chris Henchy and has received funding from Sequoia Capital.
