Freeze watch posted for Lake Okeechobee region
Looks like it’s going to be a bit colder on Wednesday night and Thursday morning than previously forecast.
The National Weather Service has posted a freeze watch for that time frame for western Palm Beach County and the region around Lake Okeechobee, saying temperatures could dip into the mid 30s.
Broward and Miami-Dade counties are forecast to see readings in the low to mid 40s on Wednesday night.
Meanwhile, high temperatures on Wednesday are expected to be in the upper 60s on Wednesday and the mid 60s on Thursday.
Conditions should gradually warm on Friday and through the weekend, the weather service said.
