Barnes & Noble
(April 27, 2013)
Kids can get a free book from the Barnes & Noble Imagination's Destination Summer reading program when they read eight titles.
Kids read and fill out the reading journal saying why they recommend the book and turn it in between May 20 through Sept. 2 to pick from a list of age-appropriate titles.
This is a great way to help students retain hard-learned reading skills over the summer. There also is a downloadable parent and teacher activity list with tips and fun ways to help strengthen these critical skills.
