Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson and Miami Heat forward/guard James Jones are among the eight former Hurricanes athletes selected for induction into the UM Sports Hall of Fame next year.
The class, which will be introduced during Miami's Nov. 23rd football game against Virginia also includes former Miami running back Clinton Portis, former wide receiver Lamar Thomas, baseball players Jeff Morrison and Javy Rodriguez, track athlete Wylleshia Myrick, and diver Rio Ramirez.
With the addition of its eight newest members, the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame will increase to 282 honorees. The class will be inducted at the 46th annual UMSHoF Induction Banquet on April 10.
