Patrick Toole, 34, is accused of assaulting a Shell gas station clerk and officers who tried to stop him from stealing "several 12-packs of beer" and a "jug of apple juice," that he placed in the bottom of a child's stroller, according to an arrest affidavit, reports The Palm Beach Post.
A bystander helped the clerk control Toole until police arrived.
The Lantana man didn't go to the pooky quietly.
He tried kicking the rear window of the squad car and the rear inside door.
