Broward General Medical Center is part of the Broward Health system, and it houses the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital, which provides care for newborns, neonates, children and youth. They provide a variety of pediatric specialty services including cardiology, pulmonology, orthopedics and plastic surgery. The Chris Evert Children’s Hospital at Broward General also provides services to help patients and their families get through the stress and anxiety they face during hospitalization, such as the Child Life Program and Hospital School.
