"Second Nature": A half-dozen contemporary artists — Amze Emmons, Gregory Euclide, Charles Kanwischer, David Linneweh, Amanda Smith and Shona Macdonald — probe the history of landscape painting at the Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery's new exhibit, opening with a 6-9 p.m. reception Thursday. Farmlands, decomposing urban sprawl and consumerism are reflected in the mixed-media works, to be discussed by Linnewah and Macdonald during a 7:30 p.m. confab at the Broward College
Central Campus (3501 SW Davie
Road, Building 6, Davie). On view through Oct. 2. Free. HAbe@broward.edu
