The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is headed by administrator Michael Griffin. The agency has a budget of $17.3 billion and operates 10 centers, including the Kennedy Space Center about 45 minutes east of Orlando. The agency plans to mothball the current space shuttle program after the last launch in 2010. Then it will begin work on the Constellation program, with the first launch scheduled for 2015.  Show more »
