  3. Barbara Ellen Albright, 85, Meyersdale

    Barbara Ellen Albright, 85, Meyersdale, died March 29, 2011, at Golden Living Center, Meyersdale. Born Dec. 2, 1925, in Boynton, she is the daughter of the late Albert and Ida (Bowers) Hochard. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth Albright; five brothers: Sam, Willard, Francis, Carl and Alvin Hochard; and three sisters, Violet Hutzell, Margaret Hutzel and Betty Lindeman. She is survived by her husband, Elmer Edward Albright; two sons, Stephen C. Albright, Frostburg, Md.; Michael Albright and wife Diane, Meyersdale; a daughter, Sherry Porter, Meyersdale; two sisters, Sarah Hay, Meyersdale; and Rita Hochard, Boynton; four grandchildren: James Porter, Clare Clark, Melissa Hetz and Cory Albright; four great-grandchildren, Ricky Hetz, Nicole Clark, Michelle Clark and Christopher Albright; and one great-great-granddaughter, Laney Clark. Mrs. Albright was a homemaker. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury. Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. The Rev. Arlen Longenecker officiating. Interment will be in Hostetler Church Cemetery.
