I wish Governor-elect Larry Hogan all the best; he is stuck with (my prediction) a billion-dollar deficit thanks to the outgoing administration ("Hogan says state's economic picture even bleaker than he thought," Nov. 17). Unfortunately, the people who created this hole are still in office in the legislature. Yes, I am talking about Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller and House Speaker Michael E. Busch.
