Tony Blair is the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He served as prime minister from May 2, 1997 to June 27 2007. Blair was the Leader of the Labour Party from 1994- 2007 and Member of Parliament for Sedgefield from 1983-2007. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Blair attended St John's College in Oxford, where he received his law degree. Blair will teach a class on issues of faith and globalization at the Yale Schools of Management and Divinity during the 2008-2009 academic year.
