With the rhetoric emanating out of the highest office in the land, this seems a particularly important time to consider the example of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
He championed the dignity of ordinary people around the world, particularly the poor and voiceless. Barraged by insults and threats, he maintained his own dignity always.
