David Super's commentary ("U.S. is short-sighted in Egypt," Nov. 10) overlooks or chooses to ignore several facets of the Arab Spring and this country's role. Does Mr. Super not remember President Barack Obama demanding that President Hosni Mubarak resign his presidency? Does he not view that as our interfering and involving ourselves in the internal affairs of another country (an ally no less)? Was that "dithering?" Does Mr. Super not remember what happened to the certain other minorities under the Mohammed Morsi regime as well as their relations with this country?
