Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps celebrates 30 years serving the community, saving lives

Thirty years ago, the newly-formed Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps had about a dozen active members, two aging ambulances and, as former Chief Peter Quackenbush noted during Saturday's annual awards banquet, no official email address.

Today, the Ambulance Corps has 80 active members, six vehicles – including three ambulances, one rehabilitation/mass casualty unit and two SUVs – and several ways to interact with the community online through email, the website http://www.hdgac.org, and social media platforms on Facebook and Twitter.
