Vice President Joe Biden, who lost his son to brain cancer last year, will talk about cancer research at Johns Hopkins Medicine tomorrow.
President Obama tapped Biden to lead the “moonshot” cancer project at the State of the Union address in January. The vice president is spearheading a $1 billion national initiative to eliminate cancer and has been touring the country's top cancer centers.
Last week, he visited Seattle's Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center where he took a tour of the facility and took part in a panel discussion.
