Birth announcements (March 28, 2013)
A son, Ronald Royal, was born to Timothy Marihugh and Tesa Johnson of Harbor Springs at 7:41 a.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2013, at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey. Ronald weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 18 3/4 inches long at birth. Grandparents are Dave and Sue Marihugh of Harbor Springs, and Greg and Michele Johnson of Rock Falls, Ill.
A daughter, Abigail Mya Kutzler, was born to Lauren and Sean Kutzler of Alanson at 11:26 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey. Abigail weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 18 1/4 inches long at birth. Grandparents are John and Denise Lyons of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., Darlene Conforzi of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, and Steve Conforzi of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
A son, Bryce Stephen Wilcox, was born to Jonathon and Deidre Wilcox of Alanson at 8:57 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013, at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey. Bryce weighed 9 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long at birth. His siblings are Brady Wilcox and Bronson Wilcox. Grandparents are Steve and Cherie Cole of Adrian, and Tom and Maryann Wilcox of Sparta.

The Charlevoix Historical Society will present an illustrated program on Operation Petunia The Story, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, at the Depot, Depot Beach. Dale Boss will narrate the program. Harbor Springs Friendship Center activities Monday, April 1: coffee 10-11:30 a.m.; lunch at noon; exercise 3:30 p.m. in building D.
The Wawatam Area Senior Center hours for congregate meals are 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 1 p.m. Sunday. The center is open every day at noon for recreation, Wii, card games and use of computers (Internet service). The center is located on Cedar Street in Mackinaw City.
