Adventist church serves vegetarian meal, offers organic gardening tips
Seventh-day Adventist Church in Petoskey is sponsoring a special supper club which begins at 5 p.m. on Sunday April 15, and Sunday, May 20. The special educational segment is on organic gardening.
There will be gardening tips, techniques and instruction on how to garden without using harmful pesticides. It is a two-part educational segment and a vegetarian meal is provided along with free recipe guides.
The supper club is at Woodhams Hall, 1404 Howard St., Petoskey.

Church opens computer lab, kids clothing pantry
BOYNE CITY -- Community of Christ Church, 777 Vogel St., Boyne City, offers a computer lab open to the public from 4-6 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, and 6-8 p.m. on Fridays. Someone is there each time it is open to assist with searching the Internet, basic computer skills and more.
The church's God's Work Children's Clothing Pantry will be open 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 14. The pantry is open to the public and is invited to find some new and gently used clothing for children. The pantry is open every second Saturday
