The National Weather Service has issued a significant weather advisory for several Central Florida counties this afternoon.
Residents and visitors can expect strong wind gusts up to 55 mph and small hail.
The winds will be strong enough to snap tree limb and may cause minor power outages but the most significant threat will come from lighting.
If possible, meteorologists recommend staying indoors until the weather passes. Torrential rainfall is expected.
Tonight, temperatures will fall near 76 degrees.
Sunday: A high near 94 degrees — including a 50 percent chance of storms.
Monday: A high near 93 degrees with a 50 percent chance of showers and storms.
