Brant Parsons and Matt Murschel break down UCF's chances for a BCS bowl bid and where the Knights might end up.
Despite some indications that UCF may not be high on the list for the BCS bowl games, Knights’ athletic director Todd Stansbury said the program and its alumni base would be a strong pick for any game. Stansbury was confident UCF fans would travel well to any destination.
“Just the size of our alumni base, and I think if you just see the buzz around Orlando I don’t know that UCF has ever carried the city like it is right now,” he said. “There’s a lot of anticipation. While some people may say we’re not one of those sexy brands, we’re definitely made for TV. Because anybody that’s been following us over the last eight or nine weeks definitely does not change the channel until the game is over.”
